Web platform / SaaS· Tel Aviv (Glilot Campus)·~5,500 globally · ~3,000 in Israel
Wix runs the largest junior developer pipeline in Tel Aviv: three programs (KickstartX, Wix Enter '26, Wix Data Student Program 2026) admit students and bootcamp graduates each year. The thing the company doesn't say on its careers page: the filter is project-density, not GPA — junior CVs with shipped work move forward faster than transcripts.
Seven-month full-time program for junior developers (0–3 years experience). Paid Wix employees from day one. Successful completion routes into a permanent engineering team placement.
Eligibility
Junior developers, 0–3 years professional experience. Bachelor's in CS or equivalent self-taught/bootcamp portfolio.
Schedule
7 months · full-time · paid · cohorts launch with hard start dates announced ~6 weeks in advance.
12-week program for CS students graduating January 2028 or later. Full-time on-site for the first three months, then a hybrid 3+ days/week schedule that flexes around the academic calendar.
Eligibility
Active CS students with January 2028 or later graduation date. No prior industry experience required.
Schedule
Kickoff August 9, 2026 · 5 days/week through October 31 · 3+ days/week thereafter.
Applications close in late spring 2026 — apply early; the program does not run rolling acceptance.
Eight-week data engineering program with lectures, workshops, and capstone project. Focus is data engineering — Spark, SQL, dimensional modeling — not data science or ML.
Eligibility
CS / Information Systems / data students with strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Scala preferred).
Schedule
Starts August 2026 · ≥4 days/week before the school year, 2.5 days/week during the school year.
Wix's junior intake skews toward developers who have shipped things — even small things. CS and EE students from Tel Aviv University, Technion, IDC, and BGU dominate the cohorts, alongside self-taught and bootcamp graduates with portfolio depth. KickstartX explicitly targets 0–3 years of experience, which means new grads compete with one-year-out engineers; the bar is the same. Hebrew helps with day-to-day collaboration but English is the working language across most teams. Junior cohorts have grown each year since 2023 — the AI-native shift expanded both the volume and the kind of project work juniors are trusted with.
The process
The Wix junior pipeline runs through Workable. After CV screen — typically 5–8 days for high-volume programs like KickstartX and Wix Enter '26 — candidates hit a Codility-style coding screen, 60–75 minutes, two problems judged on correctness plus clean code. Successful candidates move to a panel: a tech round (live coding pair, ~90 minutes) and a culture round with an engineering manager. Wix Enter '26 closes applications in late spring with kickoff August 9, 2026; Wix Data Student 2026 starts in August with a more compressed timeline. KickstartX runs cohorts with hard start dates announced about six weeks before kickoff. Total time from CV submission to offer is typically 4–6 weeks for KickstartX and 3–5 weeks for Wix Enter '26, depending on cohort fill rate.
Wix CV — what to include
Lead with shipped projects, not coursework. Wix's junior filter is project-density — even a small side project beats GPA.
TypeScript on the CV lands. Wix's stack is TS / Node / React; Python or Java with no JS-side experience is a hard filter.
Mention specific Wix products you actually use (Editor, Studio, Velo) — shows you understand the company beyond the generic 'I love Wix' line.
For KickstartX specifically, include open-source contributions, even small. The 7-month cohort filters hard for self-starters.
AI / LLM exposure is a tiebreaker since 2024. RAG, embeddings, agent code — even hobby-level — moves your CV up the stack.
Application timing matters. Wix Enter '26 closes mid-summer, not rolling. Apply early, not in the last week.
Common mistakes that get you filtered
CS-grad CV with no portfolio attached. Wix expects evidence of shipped work — even small.
Listing C / Java without TypeScript anywhere. Wix is heavy TS/Node; the Workable parser tags JS-light CVs as a partial match.
Generic 'interested in product' language for KickstartX. They want shipped projects, not interest.
Hebrew-only CV when applying to a global team. Most engineering teams operate in English; bilingual CV beats Hebrew-only every time.
Not naming the engineering org you want to join (Editor, Studio, Velo, Headless). Each has different stack and culture; generic applications get re-routed and slowed.
Insights that aren't on the company's careers page
Wix uses Workable as its ATS, which scans CVs in roughly 8 seconds. Bilingual CVs need consistency between the two language versions or the parser flags inconsistencies and lowers the match score.
KickstartX is one of the only Israeli 'junior dev' programs that's a full-time paid employee from day one — unlike the typical Israeli unpaid-internship pattern.
Wix Enter '26 specifically targets students graduating January 2028 or later, so it's an 18-month-out commitment, not 'next summer' like most Israeli intern programs.
Wix's engineering culture has shifted hard toward AI-native development since 2024. Internal tooling uses LLMs heavily and CV mentions of LLM / RAG / agent work get more callbacks than traditional algorithm screens.
Glilot Campus (Tel Aviv) requires 5 days/week on-site for the first 3 months of Wix Enter '26 — uncommon for Israeli tech, which has shifted to hybrid since 2023. Plan accordingly.
The Wix Data Student Program is data-engineering specific (Spark + SQL + dimensional modeling), NOT data-science. Applicants pitching ML projects often miss the actual ask.
